They offer us (or impose on us) guidelines that either confine or freshly propel our modes of consumption and creation.<\/p><p>\u201cPlatforms and Uses\u201d is an interdisciplinary and international project aiming at an exploration and a better understanding of today\u2019s platform cultures. On this site, you can explore:<\/p><div>\u00a0<\/div><div><p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>The exhibition \u201cL\u2019espace des plateformes\u201d<\/strong>, located at the Crossroads of Arts and Sciences of the University of Montreal, Marius-Barbeau Exhibition Hall\u00a0C-2081.<\/p><p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The 16-episode <strong>radio show<\/strong> on CISM\u00a089.3 FM, the third most listened-to radio station in Montreal.<\/p><p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>The international symposium \u201cPlatforms and uses. Film, Television, Video games, and Digital Creations,\u201d<\/strong> a gathering of the most important researchers from Quebec, Canada, and abroad (the United States, France, Japan, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden), specialized in film and media studies, game studies, and platform studies, coming from various disciplines such as communication, cinema, television, video games, art history, semiotics, and sociology.<\/p><p>The project is led by <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/recherche.umontreal.ca\/english\/our-researchers\/professors-directory\/researcher\/is\/in18943\/\">Marta Boni<\/a><\/span>, <a href=\"https:\/\/recherche.umontreal.ca\/nos-chercheurs\/repertoire-des-professeurs\/chercheur\/is\/in15188\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Christine Bernier<\/span><\/a>, <span
